Kobe for MVP? Probably, and I think he deserves it. But it’s a good thing those votes were in at the end of the regular season, did you see LeBron and Chris Paul yesterday? Wow.
- Turiaf goes to the line, but really should have converted the three-on-one fast break. Meanwhile, Denver’s zone has taken all of the Lakers’ aggressiveness away, and has suckered them into shooting too many threes. 30-27 Lakers at the moment.
- Nuggets are going to the basket almost every trip down now, and the Lakers are turning it over or shooting jumpers. Hmm.
- Turiaf is either missing shots or turning it over, and Kleiza’s three gives the Nuggets the lead at 31-30. Kleiza again! 34-30 Denver after a 9-0 run. The Lakers got a little too comfortable with that early lead, apparently.
- That’s a good shot for the Lakers out of the timeout an 8-footer in the lane from Gasol … he just missed it. Kleiza scores again to extend the lead to 6, someone might want to guard him, he did score 40 in a game once this season.
